JTown Performance At The Utopian Dream
This was a video I filmed back in January at the Utopian Dream festival in Coffs Harbour. I never got around to giving the raw footage to Jesse since he’s been based in Sydney so I decided to edit the video and launch it onto YouTube as a gift.
He did a workshop up in Brisbane at Mad Dance House to this routine to India Arie’s song ‘Slow Jam’. This was one of my favourite routines that I’ve learned and one that inspired me more to get into New School Hip Hop.
The video features Jesse’s younger brother Joel who’s also partner and choreographer for the JTown crew, along with Kelly Manning (Gold Coast) who also contributed towards the choreography in this routine, and Nina Silic (Perth) whome Jesse met during the Top 100 week in Sydney for SYTYCD - Season 2.
